She's appeared in 37 movies tracked on Box Office Mojo and those films have made an average of $90.1 million each. Thanks to a duo of major blockbuster's, she did it all in the space of four months. Her movies Captain America: Civil War and The Jungle Book launched her from number 35 to number 10 and from a total gross of $2.5 billion to $3.3 billion.
Though the numbers have not been adjusted for inflation and reflects only the US box office, it’s a commendable achievement. She's a talent who invested herself in interesting projects such Spike Jonze's Her and Jonathan Glazer's Under the Skin. Her role as Black Widow/ Natasha Romanoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies certainly buoyed her place in the list. Her mother, Melanie Sloan, is a producer. She has an older sister, Vanessa, also an actress; an older brother, Adrian; a twin brother, Hunter and an older half-brother, Christian, from her father's first marriage. Johansson began her theatrical training by attending and graduating from Professional Children's School in Manhattan in 2002.
